All of my life I have felt that something strange had happened to humanity. Even as a little child, I was wondering what was wrong … something i couldn’t put my finger on!
In my late 30s, charting my life and planning my future, I realised that we have been taught to search for happiness as if it were hidden somewhere outside ourselves. In achievement, in approval, in the next milestone, the next possession, the next version of who we think we should become.
Contentment is not found. It is remembered. As I developed spiritual awareness through my Reiki & Seichem attunements and practice, this became so obvious to me!
My upcoming book, TREATS for Your Life: Your Innovative Guide to Inner Contentment, was born from this simple but profound realisation: the peace, wisdom, and strength we seek are already woven into the fabric of our being.
Most people live as if life is a problem to solve. We’re trained and conditioned that way. Keep seeking, searching and exploring. But life is not a problem. Life is an experience of our very own consciousness unfolding. And when we learn how to meet it differently — with awareness, curiosity, and sovereignty — something remarkable happens.
We stop chasing. We begin living.
My first book, The Bridge of Now, explored this idea through story. It invited readers onto a journey through the present moment — the only place transformation truly occurs. A sequel to that novel is quietly taking shape.
But along the way, another current began to move through my work. People were not only asking for inspiration. They were asking how.
- How do we live these truths in everyday life?
- How do we quiet the mind?
- How do we shift the beliefs that keep us small?
- How do we return to the deeper intelligence of the soul?
- Is there an easy-to-remember pathway for this?
TREATS for Your Life was written as an answer to that call.
The word T.R.E.A.T.S. is not accidental.
It represents simple yet powerful principles that help us shift our inner state -practices and perspectives that guide us back to the place where real contentment lives.
Not the fleeting happiness sold to us by modern culture. But a deeper steadiness. A quiet joy. A sense that, no matter what is happening around us, we remain anchored within.
This book is the first in a series exploring the inner landscape of our human potential, which will give the reader simple strategies to live by.
It is not about fixing yourself. It is about remembering yourself. Because beneath the noise of the world, beneath the old stories and inherited beliefs, there is something within each of us that has never been broken. Never been lost. Never been separate from peace.
And if even one reader closes the final page feeling a little more connected to that truth – a little more at home within themselves – then the book has done its work.
TREATS for Your Life: Your Innovative Guide to Inner Contentment will be released on April 27th.
