Synopsis
Bea Nice
Bea is back! In Bea Yourself, young Beatrix Weathersby had to navigate the transition from homeschool to public school in a brand-new town. Now that Bea understands the structure of public school, and has built a group of friends called The Hive, she finds her desire to always be nice put to the test.
In Bea Nice she continues in the second grade and finds that the whole class will participate in the school’s musical. All the members of The Hive audition for roles, but not all of them are excited by the roles they receive.
At first Bea is excited about getting a role, but soon Bea’s goal to always be nice is challenged by her friends’ complaining. Bea can’t understand why her friends aren’t being nice. When Bea lashes out at a friend, she feels terrible and fears that she lost her as a friend.
Will they make up? Will The Hive continue to thrive together? Bea and her friends discover they are happier when they remember to be nice.
