When I wrote the first book in the series, The Ghostwriter, I finished it in time to have a Halloween release date. I thought, “How Perfect!” ghosts, Halloween… I decided at that point, that any others in the series would have a Halloween release date as well.
Can’t believe I got it done in time. Whew!
Emma, our protagonist, can still see ghosts. Well of course she can. And she is taking her promotion as The Guild’s Reliquarian quite seriously.
The museum sized space is outfitted with all the specialist equipment the staff will use to determine the uses of all of the magical relics stored there and get them sorted. She’s hired a competent staff knowledgeable in the magical arts as well as archeology.
Just as she thinks she’s got a handle on things; senior board members start disappearing. It’s up to Emma, and a team of the best and brightest in The Guild, to find their friends and bring them home.
